Leg w/ Biscuits

The biscuit slots have been cut on both pieces of wood. A thin film of glue will be run down the edge of the board and a little put in each biscuit slot (note, biscuits are in place for illustartion purposes in the picture, they have not been glued yet). The biscuits will swell and, with the rest of the glue, make a nice, strong bond.
