Nintendo Mario Bros.

A local arcade was throwing out some old, damaged cabinets and had set them on the side of the road for arcade enthusiasts to pick up. I was fortunate enough to snag two Nintendo cabinets, one an empty blue Donkey Kong (that had been converted to a VS Top Gun, boards had been sold to a friend) and the other an empty red Donkey Kong 3 (that had also been converted to a VS Golf). I have always loved the original Mario Bros. and decided that one of these machines needed to run that game. After a little bit of eBay-ing and talking with a friend, I had a board set, control panel, marquee, bezel, and monitor. After installing everything in the red DK3 cabinet, I decided that I liked the idea of Mario Bros. in red. The blue DK cabinet is currently being refurbished to become the new home of Mario Bros.
