SNK Neo Geo MVS

It started with a handheld. A Neo Geo Pocket Color, to be exact. I picked up the handheld console along with some games and a few other items from a nearby collector I met on a game collecting forum. I quickly became addicted to Puzzle Bobble, or Bust-A-Move, as the US version is known by. I played the handheld for quite a while before deciding it was time to take the next step. A friend of mine had a single-slot MVS arcade board for sale, another an MVS multi-cart and yet another an empty cabinet. I picked up all three items and set to work, only to be stopped by monitor woes. I installed the board into the Multi Fighter instead so I could get a feel for the system.

Fast-forward to a few months later. Another friend had listed a four-slot MVS machine on an online auction site, which sold to a non-paying bidder. He needed the machine gone to clear some room in his garage (see a recurring theme here?) and offered it to me. The machine now lives in my apartment at the university so I can still enjoy some arcade gaming when I'm not at home. My list of games is slowly growing as I come across good deals and fun games.
